La Petite Epicerie Saigon was founded in the bustling Ho Chi Minh City in 2013 by three young French food lovers. With backgrounds in Food and Agricultural Engineering and experience in South East Asia it made for a great start.
Ho Chi Minh City is in the heart of Vietnam’s tropical southern area, well known for its abundance of fresh, sweet fruits and flavourful spices. The passion to capture the local flavours of the region in premium products with a French twist, started with the La Petite Epicerie jams. The idea was to mix fruits with spices, such as mango with ginger, guava with lemongrass and passionfruit with cardamom. The fusion works wonders!
THE START

It all starts from the locals. Keeping traditional farming methods in Mekong Delta and highlands, farmers are able to take good care of what they grow by their hard-work and passion.
Our network of small farmers and collectors ensure a win-win situation that gives us access to great quality raw materials to take our delights on your table.
OUR SOURCING

Our modern facilities and equipment allow us to guarantee a strict food safety standard. Our French recipes and know-how is the final touch that makes our products unique. We are cooking our jam in old copper cauldron, exclusively in small batches to preserve real taste of fruits. We are not using any chemicals in our production: no coloring or preservative is needed to make real French jam!
It is important to us to assure that food processing steps are well implemented and monitored to match and uphold the standard of HACCP. Our distribution network allow us to deliver all over Vietnam in a wink!
